Hi Nick, Thanks for your continued testing. We're looking at fixing it for the last time (for real this time). The fact that making changes to the bin/*.pl scripts is such egg-treading is *the* motivation for wanting to move off of that code. I think we're on the right track there, but there's still a long way to go. One of the problems we had so far is that the remaining code is more-or-less integrated, meaning it's pretty tough to find a good approach to rewriting the code without throwing it all out and rewriting it all. I still have some ideas for approaches though.
