Thanks. Sounds like the behaviour is consistent now: no tax calculation on
any AP or AR record. See the previous post though. Cant we have an option to
switch it back ON for these screens?

Sounds like I had better get svn connected for lsmb.  There are 36 packages
named like '%svn%' in the ubuntu repos: including %apache%, %nautilus%,
%web%, %python% etc in their names. I could just install the lot, but call
me old fashioned: I am still scared that too many odd packages installed can
allow one to slip in from outer-left-field that might break the system
somewhere where I really dont want it to. Where is some rally basic info
about what minimum key packages are needed to be installed in a debian-based
system (given that dependents will get included automatically), and the
basic commands to have a ledgersmb installation 'under subversion control'
(if that is the appropriate term)? Something like:

 - Install: apt-get install a b c d
 - Set up the lsmb live installation as a 'subversion working copy': command
= 'svn ...'?
 - Update files: command = 'svn update ...'?

Is this the general idea?
