Hello all, I have finally managed to find some time to try upgrading my SL 2.6.22 -> LS 1.2.8...the upgrade was successful, except for the following problem that is plaguing me:
When I first started my business a few years ago I did not have a Canadian GST number as I was not large enough. Halfway through last year (2006) we passed the mark to need to get a GST number, so I did so. Since we had lots of invoices without the GST charged on them and I didn't want to change old invoices, I simply put (in SL) an ending date in the System->Taxes interface for the 0% GST tax, and then added a new line item with the 6% GST tax. You will see what it looks like in LS now, just see appropriate the attached file. The problem comes when I open current invoices (either closed, or still open). GST is not being calculated at all, the tax line is *always* empty... Can someone please shed some light on this for me? I look forward to any responses. Regards, Angus Jordan
