I am testing LedgerSMB 1.2.11 and have a question regarding the income statement.
I entered some accounting data for several different years - i. e. 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. When I look at the income statement it seems to be correct for the selected year; however, when I decide to compare with a previous year the numbers get all wrong for the comparison year. For instance, I can get a correct income statement for the year 2004. But when I compare the results from year 2005 with the year 2004, numbers for the year 2004 get all wrong. The same applies for all other years as well. I am pretty sure I have closed the each year's books correctly. Is this a known bug or could it be something specific to my (Norwegian) installation? I have tested the same thing in SQL-ledger and found that it also behaved the same way. Any help is appreciated.
