I am implementing barcodes at the moment also. My current plan is to append them to our human-readable internal partnumbers: 12345-ACME-WIDGET-01-INCH UPC:098765321 The reason is that the partnumber field is the 'search parts' field in most/all areas of LedgerSBM. A barcode reader does return a unique search result if scanning "098765321" in the above example. Additional program customization and/or template work will be necessary to print barcodes on your LedgerSMB documents. Any other ideas on barcode field storage?
