Alter pos.conf.pl to use the till-type of till. Create an account in the Chart of Accounts which has a name of 1300.[till] where [till] is the last octet of the ip address of the system. If this is connecting via localhost, that would be 1300.1. (because the ip address would be 127.0.0.1).
