Over the past few months a lot of effort has gone into thinking through the
outline and content of the book "Running your business with LedgerSMB 1.3"
for which a work-in-progress is available through http://book.ledgersmb.org/
.
With recent work on chapters 5 (Creating a company) and 6 (First login),
the chapters are now shaping up to be what I'd like them to be. My reason
to write this mail is to request your input on those two chapters (at
minimum - any input is very much welcome) to see if they fill a need in the
community in a way that you like the gap to be closed.
My main questions:
* Do you feel these two chapters would help you set up a company if you
had to today?
* Do you feel more subjects should be addressed which currently are not?
(Note: These two chapters are concerned *only* with setting up a bare
minimum company; parts configuration, invoicing, etc. will be addressed in
different chapters)
