You certainly could do this with a little bit of integration work (it's not
supported out of the box but isn't that hard to do).  The larger question
is why you want it done a product at a time?  This would, at very least,
make shipping and invoicing a bit of a larger since you'd have an invoice
per product.

Maybe I could schedule some time to chat with you over skype or Google
Voice and discuss what you are trying to accomplish and what would be
involved in doing that.
