Hi,

Ledgersmb.org relation: You should put the link to here, if you think it is
valuable for the community.

Yes, this system uses Pootle in Bitnami stack. I had to hack a little to get it
work as expected, but seems working for a long time now.

Regarding the contribution as translator, as I do the Hungarian translation,
here is my practice:

I do mass translation on pootle.

Download and put the new po file into work on my development system.

Check the context of the existing translation.

When I decide to share, I file the new translation file to the Sourceforge as
Proposal and/or send the new file directly to Chris to include it in the next
release.

As this translation system is open, everybody can download the recent
translation file from this system, even automatically:

Just create a script to get the recent version automatically, downloading a
link, like this:
 http://translate.startit.hu/pootle/export/LedgerSMB-1.3/hu/LedgerSMB-1.3.po
So, daily update is not a problem.

My opinion, it would be nice to involve "official translators", who should
discuss translation related questions, because there are
accountant-language-like expressions, ordenary people has no idea, what does it
mean.

Cheers,

István

Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite!
It's a free troubleshooting tool designed for production.
Get down to code-level detail for bottlenecks, with <2% overhead.
Download for free and get started troubleshooting in minutes.
