There are a couple ways to do it.

1.  You could enter everything in by hand one account at a time (a pain).
2.  You could modify the accounts one at a time.  7 digits is not a
problem.  These are all effectively unlimited in length. (Better but still
a pain)
3.  You could hire someone to make modifications in the db (unless you want
to do that yourself-- the table is the account table).

In 1.4, we will support uploading a chart of accounts from csv but we don't
support that yet on 1.3.
