Hmm, just shoot in the dark, but is that possible to install postgresql 9.x?

Second idea, open your ledgersmb.conf and check the following sections and 
adjust the path to your environment:

[environment] 
# If the server can't find applications, append to the path 
PATH: /bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/pgsql/bin



[database] 
# Sets database connection parameters. Note that default_db can be left blank 
# if you want to force people to enter a company name at login. 
port = 5432 
default_db = 
host = localhost 
db_namespace = public 
#contrib_dir PG_CONTRIB_DIR 
#with postgresql-9.1 this stuff is in /usr/share/postgresql/9.1/extension and 
is injected in database with create extension pg_trgm,btree_gist... 
contrib_dir = /usr/share/postgresql/9.3/extension 
# sslmode can be requi
