Many thanks, I'd started on Debian on the grounds that Ubuntu winds me up...
Nice to know I'm not alone.
That said this is only for testing purposes as I plan to run it on Arch Linux
when I can get it packaged correctly, assuming it tests OK.
The business I'm planning on using it for is what Americans would call a "Mom
and pop operation" selling imported stuff on ebay.
