Hi Erik,
I used the General.sql for creating databases. This is a good basis for a Dutch
COA. Indeed it is missing some headers. (I don’t see much use for the
Simple.sql.)
There seems to be an elaborated Dutch COA in use by tux4u.nl. Maybe you could
ask this LedgerSMB community member to share this COA…

Which of the two files did you install? I see 8000-series accounts in the one
that's called General.sql -- do you mean it's missing headers to indicate the
class?
Indeed I see no 8000 series accounts in Simple.sql, however, I wonder if a
"simple" CoA should provide the IC classes: after all, it's meant to be a
simple CoA?

Hi,
You should check your accounts and select one for income.
You cannot add service, because the account background did not set, in other
words, it cannot link an account for your income.
Compare a working (even US) account (installation) and your account and modify
yours to meet the requirements.

Hi all,
When I try adding a new service, I get this error:
Error!
Cannot create Service; Income account does not exist!
LedgerSMB 1.3.37 database “test”, country code NL with a Dutch COA “General”. I
think this generates the problem. Next to the “test” database, I created a
database “oefening”, country code BE, with a Belgian COA “General”, which does
not produce this error…
