Hi, Just to confirm that I downgraded to 1.4.7 and the reported behaviour is gone. ( both the missing file error employee.pm/missing userid/passwd in tab user and the ability to create invoice from a saved quote). I did not check if I could create an invoice at all, as I did not make a proper backup of the database before the upgrade.
