Normally release candidates are only announced to the -devel list.
However due to the issue found today in 1.4.8, I am announcing it to the
main lists as well. One of the fixes in 1.4.8 had an unfortunate side
efffect of causing problems when contacts are viewed if they are not
employees.
If you have not upgraded to 1.4.8, please wait for 1.4.9. If you have
upgraded, please upgrade again to 1.4.9-rc1. This release will likely
become 1.4.9 if no further problems are found but it includes a fix for
this specific problem.
