I installed ledgersmb 1.3.4 on my centos 6 based server with apache 2.2 and postgresql 8.4. I followed the install guide at ledgersmb.org/news/ubuntu-installation-tutorial-ledgersmb-13-series. When I get to the part to login at localhost/ledgersmb/setup.pl I put the postgress password I created and it gives me a bad username password error.
the error log reads as follows. [Mon Dec 22 13:22:44 2014] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] DBI connect('dbname="template1"','postgres',...) failed: FATAL: Ident authentication failed for user "postgres" at LedgerSMB.pm line 989., referer: http://127.0.0.1/ledgersmb/setup.pl [Mon Dec 22 13:22:47 2014] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] DBI connect('dbname=template1','',...) failed: FATAL: Ident authentication failed for user "apache" at LedgerSMB/Database.pm line 434., referer: http://127.0.0.1/ledgersmb/setup.pl [Mon Dec 22 13:22:47 2014] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Can't call method "selectrow_array" on an undefined value at LedgerSMB/Database.pm line 438., referer: http://127.0.0.1/ledgersmb/setup.pl [Mon Dec 22 13:22:47 2014] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/ledgersmb/setup.pl line 8., referer: http://127.0.0.1/ledgersmb/setup.pl After much searching I am unable to find an answer to this issue.
