Snodgrass is not as bad as first feared.

The Elland Road boss says he is hoping the Scot will be fit within a matter
of weeks rather than months.

Robert appeared at the club's Open Day on crutches on Sunday, but after
undergoing a second scan on his knee on Monday, the United manager was
happier in his verdict.

"Contrary to reports, Snoddy's injury isn't as bad as first feared," said
the United boss.

"As ever, we don't put timescales on these things, but we expect to have
Snoddy back sooner rather than later."

The former Livingston star was the victim of an horrendous challenge at SK
Brann last week, but the diagnosis is better than expected.
