Otherwise, locate an .html file, right click & say 'open with', select IE and check the use as default option at the bottom and hopefully that shoukd fix it. -- Sent from my Palm Pre _____ On 4 Aug 2010 19:10, Matt Anderson <[email protected]> wrote: Just bought a new laptop I have windows 7 and am using MS outlook 2010. When I click on a link in an email it takes me directly to Google chrome and says the page cannot be found. If I cut the page link and open it in IE 8 it loads perfectly. I've tried everything to change the default for opening a link in an email to IE8 but it doesn't seem to work. I have even uninstalled Google chrome but it just gives me an error when I click on the link. I ten reinstalled it and the same problem happens again Its driving me mad.
