As everyone is aware, especially those outside the UK, watching TV programmes on the BBC's iPlayer is a no, no for anyone outside the UK (and can even be a problem at times if your are in the UK).
There are ways round with proxy servers and is often discussed here but it's not always easy. Click, the BBC technology programme which goes out on both BBC News and BBC World News this week has an item on what can and can't and getting round the restrictions using VPN's and proxy's. Not quite a step-by-step guide, they'd be breaking the law doing that, but useful tips. Outside the UK of course you can't watch the programme on iPlayer but they do have a video archive of programmes on the World News website where you can catch, and watch, the programmes. guy _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman-new.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
