As I have never noticed McCormack nor followed Rae's career I thought the knuckle draggers on Cardiff's 606 might be an idea as to how good they are.
And I quote... 1. If that's the level of their ambition, it won't surprise me if they go down. Thanks for taking him off our hands Leeds. The end was spelt for Gavin when he was totally outplayed by the Burton Albion midifield. We still got Oli, McPhail, Koumas, Wildig, Drinkwater and Whitts who can play CM much better than Rae. None the less, thanks for the years of service Rae and goodluck. 2. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Please let this happen!!! 3. Don't be so harsh on Rae. He may not be the most dynamic of player but ultimately he has been a virtually ever present in a top 6- 8 side in the Championship and played in an FA Cup final. He must have been doing something right. Good luck Gav 4. He was a good player, but I think last season proved that he's not up to this level of football anymore. 5. Good news about Rae leaving. 6. leeds leeds and more leeds rae was decent when he came initially a few years back. but since then i think its fair to say he's gotten gradually worse and worse. it was getting to the stage where some people including myself thought it was better that he was inflicted upon another team. anyway, to sum up, he's not good enough for us, but for a team likely to be scrapping against relegation he could be a valuable aquisition. with regards to mccormack, i now understand that in order to bring in keogh from wolves we needed to move on one of our strikers, and out of the 4 we have, (or had), mccormack would definetely be the one i prefer to get rid of. that said, i would have preferred to keep him if possible, though the transfer isnt a foregone conclusion as he's on good money here, and the leeds chairman has a reputation as a bit of a penny pincher. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman-new.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
