I don't actually mind Stoke being up there. They fill their ground up and their supporters at least make a noise. For me it's long overdue for Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan to get their come-uppance and get relegated. They do nothing to inspire any neutral to watch them and have drab supporters and a drab style of play. Add to that Blackpool (But I do love Holloway, so he can have a season in the sun for me) and we can finally put an end to this Lancashire League dominance! Obviously I'd like to see us back up there, but I'd also like to see both Sheffield Clubs up there and get a bit of Yorkshire rivalry in the PL.
Talking of Yorkshire rivalry. Just been to Dusseldorf for a cracking Stag Do. Great fun mixed and had a great time with the locals, other groups of travellers etc. and had no bother whatsoever ... except one Bradfud fan who politely introduced himself to 24 of us on Saturday evening with; "Ohhh Yorkshire accents, where are you from lads?" "Leeds" came the friendly response "Oh fcuking hell, scummers. I fcuking hate you lot, absolute wnakers the lot of you" Considering 3 of our lot are ex military, 2 are coppers and 21 have played rugby, a simple "Well good for you mate, we have no feelings towards you whatsoever" and a mass back turning (Which of course sent him purple with rage) was, I think a good moral victory!!!!!! > Just sat down to watch a bit of football tonight with nowt else to do. > > Blackburn v sunderland!
