Until you get to the Conference, the Football League (FL) will still relegate two clubs from League 2 into the Conference (BSBP) and two will be promoted, but should Portsmouth (or anyone else) this season, the FL will operate with only 71 clubs next season, if a club goes bust during the close-season, then the FL will amend things to keep 72 clubs in the League (the other 20 are in the Premier of course). The FL said a while ago now, it was their long-term ambition to reduce the numbers in the FL, they see 70 as the optimum number, but would only do this by natural wastage. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman-new.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
