Same cannot be said for Ridsdale, but even so I detect more outward vitriol towards Smudger than Ridsdale ever gets. Not that the latter deserves it either to be honest, he was the chairman but he didn't make decisions on his own, that's what the board of directors is for, they are probably more culpable than Ridsdale. Ridsdale was just a fan who got to play fantasy football in real life, but without a budget! There is only 1 thing to blame for our malaise or the malaise of the game in general today, that's the Bosman saga. If it weren't for him we'd probably be champions of the world and queuing up with our misses at the Alan Smith stud farm in Normanton.
