You could sync to a shared Google Calendar using Google Calendar sync (which
is free), or create a new windows live account and use exchange active sync
to sync that to outlook via the outlook Hotmail connector. Works really
well.

Both of the above solutions will allow you to sync to desktops and mobiles
without any associated cost.

Subject: [LU] NON LU:- IT Question

Hi Guys,

just a quick question.....

I'm looking for a possibly online solution (free or otherwise) for a joint
calendar for several individuals.
These individuals would like to sync their personal calendars up to a joint
central calendar so everyone can view where everyone else should be.
The majority of the calendars are Outlook based but they are from disparate
systems thus cannot "share" their calendars.
If anyone might be able to point me in the right direction I would greatly
appreciate it.

Thanks in hopeful anticipation,

Verner
