Are we definitely a host city??? I thought if we win we would need to bid
against Plymouth and Milton Keynes??

While we don’t need a 50000 stadium it would be nice to get the other ¾ of
the ground up to scratch with a bit of financial help from the FA

Subject: C'mon England!

I wasn't too fussed about this World Cup bid jamboree.................until
I read yesterday on the YP website that if the England bid is successful,
Elland Road will be immediately upgraded to a 50,000 capacity. The article
was a bit vague, but it seemed that the plan is to bung an extra tier on top
of the kop.
