Maybe you saw the game differently from the North? Ref was atrocious.
We thought it proves that some refs find the 'Elland Road' occasion a
bit much for them too. Maybe determined not to be swayed by the crowd
becomes never agree with the crowd, only sometimes, but sometimes, we
are right.   The first foul we were given was well into first half and
only(quickly)  after the crowd had finally registered their feelings
'you're not fit' (and in fact should have gone the other way). They
must have had approaching ten fouls by then.

Kaspar: Some great saves but....does he need a little calming down? He
spent the second half gesturing madly that the ref was insane and
biased, twice kicked at the post in frustration (not a clever way to get
injured)  and that tussle with Nugent at the end!

Paynter OK, better footballer than LB but Becchs makes things happen
both on and off the pitch. At doncaster (our last match before
christmas) we loved the intelligent movement of McCormack and the
swagger and drive of Somma, but everything changed when becchio came
on. Reminds me of Hopkin and Gregan. Rubbish players but somehow
decent managers keep on with them and we playbetter/get better
results.

Kilkenny, far and away MOM at LC, Snods was good v portsmth

(and if anyone has a kind heart (son's 10th birthday I've travelled
from Qatar to share) and a spare pair of arsenal tickets.......)

Happy 2011 everyone. May our wishes come true.
