Erm, he most definitely DID get a shot away! One could argue the ref played advantage, but in my opinion if someone plays on and gets a decent shot in (he was balanced when he did) it should not be pulled back for a penalty.
Also, another shocking result/interpretation of the current offside rules, cant remember who it was who went thru for Arse in the first half, but Connolly was (rightly) pushing up to keep the arse player in the middle offside, but by doing so the Arse player got the run on him.
