And moving it to the Wednesday means that it is now on the same night as the FA Youth Cup game away to Crewe. As I live less than ten minutes walk from Gresty Road, I was looking forward to that. But as the Youth Cup game kicks off at 7pm, I could still go to that and record the first half of the proper cup tie from the TV. I would then be home in time to watch the second half of the FA Cup tie live, before watching my video of the first half! (I still have to use an old-fashioned VCR, nothing clever like Sky Plus). OK there may be fans out there who cannot make it on a Tuesday but can now go, but the majority of Leeds fans arrange their other midweek acitivies to leave Tuesday nights free TV should not rule football but it does the 12.45pm kick off on Sat was bad enough !
