Anyone remember back to the first time we beat arsenal round about 1999- 2000
to gift the title to the scum?

I think we were in Extra Time on Long Lane near Barbican when there was a
decent cohort of Leeds fans around the City who watched the Leeds games..

I remember the confusion about wanting to and not wanting to beat them. If
memory serves Harte missed a pen and Hasselbaink scored in the 87th minute and
everyone went mad. I might be mixing up 2 games though.

You just can’t want to see Leeds lose at anything (unlike Scousers who wanted
them to lose to get Hodgson sacked)

Oh don't worry, I know that come 8 o'clock I will be 100% desperate for the
win, but I think we all know that this is just a sideshow and it probably won't
hurt us in the long term not to be in the next round.

With the strategic detachment of a keyboard session, I could handle a defeat.

With the passionate involvement of a committed TV-watching fan tonight, no
fucking way!
