I think a lot of these are good questions. I'm still curious about where the money we got from Spurs and Chelsea for nicking our youth players went, plus the six million quid from Villa for Delph, etc. However, all that being said, it does cost a lot of money to run Leeds United. We've got a big squad with a bunch of internationals, including some like Kisnorbo and Nunez who never feature in the first team. And if the reports of what folks like Schmeichel are getting paid are actually correct, then that's a lot of cash going out the door as well.
I've asked before but never gotten a good answer on exactly how cup revenues work (i.e., for instance when we play Arsenal or ManU at Highbury/Old Trafford, how are the gate and TV revenues divided). Cheers! What I'd like to know is where the money from 31,000 people paying on average of £20 - £30 goes ? I'd also like to know where all the revenue from the FA Cup game with Arsenal went ? I'd also like to know where all the revenue from the FA Cup run last year went ? including a 70,000 crowd at Old Trafford. It's certainly not all going in taxes and certainly not all going on George McCartney's f*cking wages.
