John, I agree our midfield is horrific defensively. All of our defensive shortcomings are not the fault of our back four, in fact I'd argue that the midfield players are our biggest defensive problem. Midfield may as well not have been there for all their effectiveness. Up front Bechio was lost, Somma made a few runs but contributed little, while Max couldn't play when pressured. At the back they all gave me the heebie-jeebies. Midfield is the major issue to address though - no energy and not enough nouse to break things up!
