We've nearly won the league, nearly won the European Cup, nearly got in to the Champions League final, nearly got promoted from the Championship at the first attempt, nearly run away with the League One title. And it seems this season might be another nearly season. I'm not saying this is exclusive to us, I'm sure lots of fans from other clubs feel the same, but it does seem that as fans we are often put through the wringer, more often than not coming out the other end still dripping wet and rumpled and not neat and clean and dry. It makes you wonder really why do it?
