Told you this would happen. Good list - but you missed one, and a very relevant one too: 1990 - Swindon Town demoted two divisions for making illegal payments to players. Reduced to one demotion on appeal (which effectively meant they stayed where they were as they'd won the playoff final to be promoted to Division 1. The bad news is that the decision wasn't made until after the playoffs - though it does look like this time they could make the call in advance.
