that's not true?

It's not the issue of being "snubbed" that's the point here. It's what does 
this say about our youth set-up (if we're producing players who are allegedly 
being fought over by both Champions League finalists)? And how much money might 
the club (or Bates' retirement fund) get from the Spanish giants?
