Mmmmm ... Well, for me Paynter looks slow and ponderous but I still think he does have something to offer at this level. I think he can play the Becchio role better than Becchio but to be honest neither Becchio or Paynter look to me like they can fire us out of this division.
Paynter was Grayson's big pre-season signing last time round and it's fair to say it hasn't worked out yet so I think he's going to give him every chance to make it work. When are we going to get new blood?
