Hmm... I've been brooding over the match, the result, the performance since
watching it on Saturday. First observation: a newly-promoted side should not
have outclassed us to such an extent - we may not have spent much money on the
side, but we did finish 7th last year. Secondly, a question: how / why can
almost all members of a team play with such little enthusiasm for 90 minutes?
I think the result reflected the balance of play - in midfield we were totally
overrun, there was no creativity, no closing down, and precious little skill on
offer. Frankly, it looked more like we were the side who had just come up and
got soundly thrashed by an established Championship side. Has Larry lost the
dressing room?

As regards cruicial points, yes we should have had a penalty earlier on - a
blatant trip on Max. Apart from that, Paynter's appalling miss was about the
only other chance we had in the whole game. If you do get to see it, Rich, you
will be apoplectic. I look forward to your match report!
