Swansea City have signed Fede Bessone on a free transfer from Leeds United.

The Argentinian left back has returned to the club that he departed in June
2010 after struggling to earn himself a regular starting place at Elland Road.

The 27 year-old has signed a two year contract with the Swans and he gives
Rodgers some much needed left back cover following Tate's recent broken leg
injury.

Bessone told the Official Site that he couldn't wait to return:

'I can't express how pleased I am to be back here.

'When the call came from Swansea, I was so excited. I just got into my car and
drove straight down because I have such a good feeling for the club and I had a
fantastic time here.

'The people have always been so nice to me, and now I'm back as part of the
family makes me feel so happy.'

'I was quite frustrated at Leeds because I was told I was the fourth choice
left-back by the Leeds manager (Simon Grayson) the day before the season
started,'

'I just thought to myself 'I want to go home.'

'But the interest came from Swansea and I agreed to cancel my contract with
Leeds today so I could complete my move.

'I'm ready to help the club. I won't say I will be challenging Neil for his
place - I just want to help the club by doing my best in training and on the
pitch.'
