How about this one... here in Ireland, the age of consent is 17. If two 16 year-olds have consensual sex, then the boy is guilty of statutory rape, but not the girl. Even if the girl is 17 and the boy is 16, she still isn't guilty of anything. So if you have a 16 year-old girl and you find out she's been sleeping with her 16 year-old boyfriend, you can insist that the police prosecute him for rape (to be fair, the police aren't very interested in this but if the parents insist, they have to do it).
