Just browsing through the pictures and one thing that struck me - there are several with the old smiley badge upside-down. Did the whole team wear it like that for a season or two, or was this just a few random manufacturing errors? I never remembered it being upside-down, and had Don still been manager might have suggested it was superstitious, but he wasn't?
