I also liked Dom as a player and for his feeling towards Leeds. He was always a man for me to respect. I find it more so that now he has come out and admitted he is a compulsive gambler (he may have stopped gambling as he says, but he is STILL a compulsive gambler). Speaking as one who had the same journey to admitting my compulsion a number of years ago, and by no means similar amounts, I have respect for anyone who recognises they have this problem and makes efforts towards changing their life.
Good on yer Dom Steve G -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Nigel Sykes Sent: 09 November 2011 13:44 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LU] Matteo, again I quite liked Dom as a player at Leeds, but his all too apparent feelings towards the club and it's fans have come as a surprise in recent times. He, more than anyone else I've heard, who was involved with the club in the pre-meltdown years, seems to appreciate what we had and what we lost. Good on him. Some interesting stuff about his thoughts on storing players and not making important, difficult decisions too...
