I don't think so much we were hammered, more both team were awful, but Watford just about shaded it. We couldn't string two passes together, and by the end were just hoofing it Becchio-ward - possibly because he'd managed to get to a few early on, though the ball invariably went to a Watford player next. They just played on the counter, and packed the midfield. By the middle of the second half it was a game of volleyball... I don't think anyone enjoyed it, and even the Watford fans were leaving early. If football were covered by "statutory rights", we should all be refunded the ticket price and both clubs deducted points.
Other than that though, it was a fun day. - Si On 10/12/2011 18:03, DAVID NATTAN wrote: > Just like everyone else who listened to the game I thought that overall we > got hammered and 'stole' a pointHowever on looking at the match facts they > seem to show a different gamePossession was 50 % eachShots 10 - 7 to us > (although they shaded shots on target by 4 - 2)Corners we won 5 -3 Fouls (for > what they show) 13 - 11 > So just looking at the bare facts we appeared to shade the game > I think it shows how useless bare statistics are in football when in > additition to radio listeners all the reports suggest that we did not deserve > anything out of the game > Dave > _______________________________________________ > _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
