Surely not unfounded ? Perhaps not proven ?

How has Evra played the "race card" ? To what end ?
He feels insulted so he complains. The irony of the
Suarez case is that his defence is centred on what is
"normal" in Uruguay. In the UK context, surely, that
is an admission of guilt ? The behaviour of Dalgleish
and the players is embarrassing and seems to be making
the issue worse.

Possibly more serious in the long term, is the apology
by Hansen and the BBC. It just highlights the problems
of distinguishing the difference between a calculated
insult and a fear of using the wrong word when making
a point that requires a recognition of a skin colour.
There will be the well aired reactions and
views of the two extremes but the middle majority will
consider it stupid and not worthy of consideration.
There, imho, is the danger. All forms of deliberate racism
will not be taken seriously because of the trivial cases
reported.

I wish all listers a Peaceful Christmas and a Healthy 2012.
