Mark - I think Grayson got it spot on. "Going for it" would mean risking not only 3-2 or 4-2, but easily 4-0 or 6-0. With the confidence fragile after our recent results, it was in fact very important staying in the game. Whatever tactic, we would always have to be lucky to win a top premiership team. He tried to keep a bit of flair in the team (Nunez) to attract lady luck, but it didn't work out this year. With confidence high - yes he should have gone for it, making a big loss a minor dent in the confidence, but yesterdays tactics were right in this moment of time.
I thought White was fantastic last night. Townsend exciting, and the other players did a decent job. Except our strikers - Luciano and Nunez. Nunez was at no time any kind of attacing threat, but he did a better job defensively than I thought he was able to do. Please Grayson - keep Luciano off the pitch. In Forsell we have a much better player or alternatively use the transfer window!
