He's a left-winger/midfielder (sources differ, but he definitely operates towards the left). Scored a couple of times last season, and set up a few. Seems to have been a regular in the side, but there's mutterings of not quite making good on his early promise. There's a touch of arrogance... or maybe he couldn't get the straight domain name - http://www.THErobbierogers.com
He's on twitter https://twitter.com/#!/robbierogers - and seemed quite chuffed to be at Leeds http://instagr.am/p/gQF8g/ The work permit is the sticking point. He's got quite a few games for the US national side, but not enough to qualify automatically. TSS suggest this may be difficult http://www.thescratchingshed.com/2012/01/robbie-rogers-the-work-permit-problem/ - Si On 11/01/2012 10:38, DAVID NATTAN wrote: > Any US listers , or indeed any of you avid football watchers, know anything > about him ?He is a24 yr old winger with over 100 MLS appearances for Columbus > crew and we have signed him on a permanent deal (subject to work permit) with > claims that he is going to be in first team squad straight away. > Dave > _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
