Delph may be an 'upgrade' but that depends on whether he has progressed since he left us - a serious injury and failure to hold down a place may mean that he is not as good as we were hoping he would be. Having said that he is more mature physically and now has a reasonable amount of Prem experience rather than only playing at 3rd Division level- so it could be a great move for usTime will tell - lets hope Villa allow hiim to stay for more than the 28 days and never use the recall. I must admit him and Clayton with Snoddy (skill) and Townsend (pace) out wide could be a strong midfield 4 (if SG does go 4 4 2) Dave
