Disagree! Any of the bottom four teams in the PL are way ahead of us and the
likes of Wolves and Bolton doing well recently against Spurs and Liverpool
respectively, endorse this.
Don't mention our recent 1-0 defeat to Arsenal as redress, we were clueless
and simply waiting to be defeated.
Our only saving grace would, as you say, come from external funding that
would have to arrive immediately after promotion to avoid a very short PL
residence.
Anyway, I doubt very much whether either are on the cards for now.
