I think this is a mistake by bates. We are 3 pts off the playoffs. Does he seriously expect better than this when we sell our best players and don't replace them? Bates will not get an ambitious manager to come and work for him as they will know there is no funds to work with ( even in the summer). We can only expect a 2nd grade mgr who needs a job. My fc is we will now finish well lower than 10th this season, and also struggle next season. Frankly, this makes me question my support for lufc more than any result. I am truly sickened by this sacking. SG deserved better. However, I think he will go in to a better run club and be successful. I feel sick that my club is being raped.
