All teams are going to do that now (wingers and double up on Snodgrass). The answer is to play white at LB and Townsend LM (or Rogers, or Nunez).
That gives us pace on both sides at the back, and gives us 2 proper wingers for their defence to worry about. Redfearn seems to just want to keep the same players in the same position to try and bring some consistency. He has done that, except its consistently shit. It's not that the players are cr@p, well Becchio, O'Dea, and Pugh are, it's just that they're not playing as a team. White suffers by having Pugh behind him as he has to help out all the time. Becchio didn't sound like he won anything all night except for the odd free kick. They put two on Snodgrass like Brighton did and effectively took him out of the game. Smith sounded like he was trying but then Redfearn subbed him. If McCarthy and Brown were at the game you can bet they won't want the job after seeing that pile of shite.
