All teams are going to do that now (wingers and double up on Snodgrass).

The answer is to play white at LB and Townsend LM (or Rogers, or Nunez).

That gives us pace on both sides at the back, and gives us 2 proper wingers
for their defence to worry about. Redfearn seems to just want to keep the
same players in the same position to try and bring some consistency. He has
done that, except its consistently shit.

Oh well, theres always next season, as long as we don't go down Im
relatively happy - we'd be fucking murdered in the PL and wouldn't see the
money when we came back down.

That was awful, we were outplayed by a team 8 points adrift at the bottom of
division 2 ffs. Okay Redfearn could do nothing about the Delph injury but he
could have had somebody more creative than Brown on the bench, oh wait a
minute he did in Townsend. Could have pulled Snodders or White into the
midfield or gone 4--3-3 even but now he brings on a donkey to try and hang
on for a draw. Then just to make sure we get the point he takes off Smith
and puts on O'Brien!!!!!!! Wait a minute then he takes off McCormack, the
only player he sounded like he might score and puts on Nunez. Just
unbelievable. Cov knew our defence was shaky so put some wingers on. We knew
their defence was shaky but chose not to run at them. Couldn't string any
passes together, no cohesion, no passion, no anything, just utter utter
rubbish football for 90 minutes. It's not that the players are cr@p, well
Becchio, O'Dea, and Pugh are, it's just that they're not playing as a team.
White suffers by having Pugh
behind him as he has to help out all the time. Becchio didn't sound like
he won anything all night except for the odd free kick. They put two on
Snodgrass like Brighton did and effectively took him out of the game. Smith
sounded like he was trying but then Redfearn subbed him.
If McCarthy and Brown were at the game you can bet they won't want the job
after seeing that pile of shite.
