Not so much what he says, but what he doesn't say, imho. He says that we are £2m over budget and asks where do we think that money came from. You see I have a problem with this statement and I'm not saying I disagree entirely - but without Ridsdales 'creative' fund raising Leeds United wouldn't have reached the semi-finals of the champions league and would probably have spent the last 15 years mirroring Aston Villa's achievements - Not sure which I would prefer. Deadly Doug, Ken Bates or Peter Ridsdale? Transparency would solve a lot of the fan-club issues, if there is nothing to hide why would transparency be a problem? Cue the usual defence of he doesn't have to, which is true we ALL have a choice.
