LOL!  A bit drastic maybe...

I took the approach that I told them that they could support whomever they
wanted, but if they wanted me to buy them shirts, or ever take them to a
game, then they'd have to support Leeds, as I wouldn't pay for them to
support anyone else.  

I also suggested to them that it'd be better to be different and be one of
maybe only a couple of kids in the entire school who supported Leeds rather
than the legions of Scum fans etc.  This also appealed to my two, but I
guess that depends on the kid's attitude i.e. if they'd rather stand out or
fit in...
